- Phase 1: Research & Poster – 20 marks – Learners explore what makes fictional stories believable and powerful and present their research on an A2 poster.
- Phase 2: Writing Task – 30 marks – Learners write an original 100–120 word fictional story using characters, setting, conflict and resolution, descriptive vocabulary and figurative language.
- Phase 3: Oral Presentation – 20 marks – Learners present their research and story in a short oral presentation using their poster and cue cards.
