- Phase 1: Research & Poster – 20 marks – Learners research what makes fictional stories believable and powerful and present their findings on an A2 poster.
- Phase 2: Writing Task – 30 marks – Learners write an original 100–120 word fictional story, including characters, setting, conflict and resolution, descriptive language and figurative language.
- Phase 3: Oral Presentation – 20 marks – Learners deliver a short oral presentation about their research, findings and fictional story using their poster and cue cards.
